The Challenge
The homeowners wanted a dedicated cinema that delivers a true theatrical experience—without visible tech or complicated controls. The room had to support 4K/HDR projection, immersive Dolby Atmos audio, and design-led finishes, while minimizing noise to avoid disturbing adjacent spaces. They also asked for one-touch scenes for movies, gaming, and cleanup, discreet equipment, tiered seating, and lighting that transitions seamlessly from preview to credits.
The Solution
We engineered a 7.2.4 home theater room with an acoustically transparent screen with left, center, and right speakers hidden behind the screen, side/rear surrounds, height channels, and dual subs—calibrated for cinematic impact and clarity. A centralized rack manages sources (premium movie server, streaming, gaming) and the projector, with a simple handheld control for AV source selection, volume, and power.
